Olympian, award-winning producer, director, commentator, author and Emmy Award winning choreographer, Sandra Bezic has enjoyed a varied career that has touched almost every aspect of figure skating.

Following Sandra’s own competitive success as a pairs skater with her brother, Val, the five-time Canadian Champion (1970-74) and 1972 Olympian turned to choreography and became instrumental in the careers of multiple Olympic and World champions. She went on to direct and choreograph three touring productions of Boitano-Witt (1989-91), and then produce, direct and choreograph 11 seasons of the North American tour Stars on Ice (1992-2003). Nominated three times, she was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography for the 2003 season’s A&E broadcast. Sandra has also choreographed and/or produced over 30 Canadian and US primetime specials, including the internationally awarded feature film, Carmen On Ice (1989), and Kurt Browning, You Must Remember This (1994). Sandra co-created and executive produced CBC’s hit series, Battle of the Blades, (2009-2020), which raised nearly two million dollars for Canadian charities over six seasons. As a television producer, she has been honoured with three Gemini Awards (1993, 1995, 2011) and a Factual Entertainment Award (2011). Sandra continues to create and direct live productions internationally, including Javier Fernandez - Revolution On Ice, Spain (2018, 2019) and Yuna Kim - All That Skate, Korea (2019).

Acting as an analyst for NBC figure skating for 25 years (1990-2014), Sandra has covered countless World Championships and six Winter Olympic Games: two with CBC (1992, 1998) and four with NBC (2002-2014). She is the author of The Passion To Skate: An Intimate View of Figure Skating (1996).

Sandra is a member of the Skate Canada Hall of Fame (2012), and the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame (2018).
