Les Misérables tells the heart-wrenching story of Jean Valjean, a former prisoner relentlessly pursued by the ruthless Inspector Javert. Along the way, he encounters Fantine, a factory worker broken by poverty, to whom he promises to look after her daughter, young Cosette. As rebellion simmers in the streets of Paris, young revolutionaries rise up, and destinies intertwine in a whirlwind of emotion and courage.
